10 x USB (5V) 100CM LED light strip for Awnings, camping and van conversion

The Advantage of "Cool White" Utility Lighting

"Cool White" (typically 5000Kto 6500K) is preferred for utility tasks because it provides high contrast and clarity. It mimics daylight, which helps reduce eye strain when you are performing detailed work or navigating a dark campsite.

Powering via USB (5V)

Since this strip runs on 5VDC, it is significantly more energy-efficient for small-scale use than 12V systems.

• Power Bank Compatibility: You can run this light for hours using a standard phone charging power bank. A typical 10,000mAh power bank can often power a 50cm strip for 8–12 hours depending on the LED density.

• Plug-and-Play: No need for battery clips or cigarette lighter adapters; it plugs into laptops, car USB ports, or portable solar generators.

• Integrated Switch: The 1.5M lead includes a physical rocker switch, meaning you don't have to unplug the USB cable every time you want to turn the light off.

Mounting & Installation

This strip features a "ridged" design and comes with specialized brackets, making it more permanent than a flexible adhesive strip.

• Fixed Brackets: The end caps allow for a permanent screw-in installation, ideal for the ceiling of a van or the underside of a shelf.

• Adjustable Brackets: These allow you to "clip" the light into place and rotate the angle of the beam. This is perfect for awnings where you might want to tilt the light toward a table or away from your eyes.

• Heat Dissipation: The ridged housing acts as a small heat sink. Even though LEDs are efficient, they do generate heat; the housing ensures the LEDs stay cool, extending their lifespan to over 50,000 hours.

Usage Tips for Mobile Setups

1. Van Conversions:Mount this above your kitchenette or workbench. The cool white light is excellent for food prep safety.

2. Awning Lighting: Use the adjustable brackets to clip the light to the horizontal poles of your awning. The 1.5M lead provides enough slack to reach a power bank sitting on a table.
