How to Use: The "Snap-Shut" Method

Achieving a rock-solid connection is simple if you follow these steps:

1. Cut Cleanly: Always snip your LED strip along the designated copper cut points (every 5cm or 10cm).

2. Align Polarity: Ensure the Red wire aligns with the + (Positive) mark on the strip and the Black wire aligns with the - (Negative) mark.

3. The "Teeth" Connection: Slide the strip into the plastic housing so the metal "teeth" sit directly over the copper pads.

4. Snap Shut: Firmly press the plastic cover down until it clicks. This clamps the teeth onto the copper, creating a permanent electrical bond.

Expanding Your Project

• Extending the Gap: If the pre-attached wires are too short for your gap (e.g., a wide fridge), you can simply snip the wires in the middle and join in a longer piece of standard 2-core 12V cable using a terminal block or crimps.

• Power Connection: The bare Red/Black ends can be wired directly into a 12V LED Driver or connected to a DC Jack plug for a "Plug & Play" setup.
