Why LED Lighting

LED offers a 90% saving over incandescent lighting and can now be seen in industrial, commercial, and due to the low cost, household applications.

LED Strip / Tape Lighting Options

LED strip lighting and LED tape lighting offers versatile décor and is available in various sizes. We promote the well-known SMD 5050 LED (also known as Super Bright LEDs), SMD 5050 RGB LEDs (colour changing LEDs), and SMD 3528 LEDs.

The difference is that the 5050 LEDs are 5.0mm × 5.0mm and have three LEDs per LED chip, while the 3528 LEDs are 3.5mm × 2.8mm and have a single LED chip. The 5050 LED strip lights are therefore much brighter than the 3528 LED strip lights.

All our LED strips are supplied in 5m reels, featuring 60 LEDs per metre (300 LEDs over a 5m length). It is worth checking that a competitor’s LED strip has this density of LEDs per metre.

Power Options & Applications

All our LED strips operate from a nominal 12VDC, making them ideal for motorhomes, caravans, cars, boats, canal boats, and other 12V applications.

With the use of a 12V LED driver (commonly known as a power supply), they can also be used in homes, offices, or workspaces, as these drivers convert AC mains to 12VDC.

Colour Control & Functionality

Available in single colour or as 5050 RGB/RGB+W colour-changing LED strips with 16 preset colours. Users can set their preferred mood via handheld remote control or choose preset programmes that fade smoothly through the colour spectrum.

Cutting, Soldering & Connectors

All our 5050 LEDs, 5050 RGB LEDs, and 3528 LED strip lights can be cut to size. Every 3 LEDs (50mm) there is a cut mark on the PCB. Users may solder directly to the PCB or use our 5050 (10mm wide), 5050 RGB (10mm wide), or 3528 (8mm wide) LED connectors. These clip over the cut section and snap shut, eliminating the need for soldering and allowing clean 12V termination.

Accessories & Installation

Our high-quality flexible LED strips include double-sided adhesive tape on the back for quick installation. We also offer 5050 and 3528 mounting clips, as well as LED accessories such as LED dimmers, LED controllers, and LED amplifiers.
