This box is designed to be lightweight and user-friendly, allowing you to mount your lights anywhere—even at the far end of a field.

• Standard 12V Output: By holding 8 x AA batteries, it combines their voltage to create a 12V output (1.5V x 8 = 12V ), ensuring your "Dream Chasing" or single-color strips run at their intended brightness.

• Integral On/Off Switch: No need to unplug the lights to save power; the built-in rocker switch allows you to manage your battery life easily.

• Universal DC Jack: The 5.5mm x 2.1mm plug is the industry standard. It fits perfectly into the receiver lead of our 5m and 8m LED strips.

Performance & Battery Life

While runtimes vary based on the "mode" your lights are in, here is what you can expect:

• Approximate Runtime:5 to 8 hours.

• Efficiency Tip: "Dream Chasing" (moving) patterns generally use less power than "Solid White" because not all LEDs are on at maximum brightness at once.

• Go Green: We highly recommend using rechargeable NiMH batteries. While they have a slightly lower nominal voltage (1.2V ), the high-quality internal circuitry of our LED strips will still operate effectively, and you'll save money in the long run.

Strategic Setup for Flagpoles

If you are using this with our 7-Meter Telescopic Flagpole, consider this setup:

1. Placement: Don't let the battery box hang by the wire. The 500mm lead is designed to be tucked into a small pouch or taped to the base of the pole.

2. Weather Protection: While the LED strips are waterproof, the Battery Box is NOT.

   Pro Tip: Place the battery box inside a small waterproof dry bag or a simple "Ziploc" bag at the base of your pole to keep it safe from morning dew or rain.

3. Strain Relief: Use a Velcro strap to secure the connection between the battery box and the LED lead to prevent the wind from pulling the plug out.
