12V - 8M Digital Magic Dream Chasing Flag Pole Led Strip Light Remote / Bluetooth Controlled
This 8-Meter Waterproof LED Strip represents the "pro-tier" of your lighting collection. By combining a longer 8-meter length with Dual-Control (IR + Bluetooth) and a high IP67 rating, this system is designed for permanent or semi-permanent outdoor installations where you want maximum visual impact.
The inclusion of Bluetooth is a significant upgrade, as it allows you to control the 366 effects via a smartphone app, bypassing the line-of-sight limitations of a standard remote.
Having two ways to control your lights offers redundancy and flexibility:
IR Remote: Perfect for quick changes when you are sitting nearby. It requires a direct line-of-sight to the sensor on the 3-meter lead.
Bluetooth App: This is the game-changer. Using a dedicated app (usually Magic Lantern or LED Hue), you can:
Pick Exact Colours: Use a colour wheel to find a specific shade.
Music Sync: Most apps allow the lights to pulse to the beat of music playing through your phone.
Grouping: If you have multiple strips, you can sync them to change colours at the same time.
12V Power Management
Because this strip is 8 meters long (3 meters longer than your standard strips), it draws more current. The included 3-meter Cigarette Lighter Adapter is the ideal power source for this length.
Technical Note on Voltage: 8 meters is the upper limit for a single-ended 12V power feed. To ensure the "tail end" of the strip is just as bright as the beginning, the internal circuitry of this strip is likely optimized for low resistance. If you notice a slight dimming at the very end, ensure your 12V source (battery or car) is fully charged.
Installation Strategy: 8 Meters of Reach
An 8-meter strip is long enough to wrap around an entire large gazebo, run the full length of a caravan awning, or spiral up a very tall flagpole.
