10 x 12V - 5M Digital Magic Dream Chasing Flag Pole Led Strip Light Remote Controlled Trade - Wholesale

The "Dream Chasing" Difference

With 366 dynamic lighting modes, this strip is almost certainly an addressable (RGBIC) system.

• Standard RGB: Every LED on the 5-meter strip is the same colour at the same time.

• This Strip (RGBIC): Each individual LED (or small group of LEDs) can be a different colour. This allows for complex "chasing" effects, rainbows, and multi-colour pulses that move along the length of the 5-meter tube.

Understanding the 6-Meter Reach

One of the best features of this specific package is the extended wiring. Many LED strips only give you a few inches of wire before the lights start, but this kit includes:

1. 3-Meter Cigarette Lighter Lead: Plugs into your vehicle or power station.

2. 3-Meter Receiver Lead: Connects the controller to the start of the LED strip.

Why this matters: This gives you a 6-meter (approx. 20ft) "cold lead" before the lights even begin. You can keep your vehicle or battery box tucked away in a dry spot while running the lights to the top of a tall flagpole or across a campsite.

Installation Best Practices

To maintain the integrity of the IP67 silicone tube, follow these mounting tips:

• Avoid the "Zip-Tie Trap": As noted in your description, plastic zip ties are too rigid. In the wind, the sharp edges of a plastic tie can slice through the silicone housing. Velcro straps provide a "soft grip" that allows the strip to expand and contract with temperature changes.

• Line-of-Sight for IR: The Infrared (IR) remote requires a clear path to the small sensor located on the end of the 3-meter receiver lead. If the lights aren't responding, make sure the sensor isn't tucked behind a pole or inside a bag.

• The "No-Cut" Rule: Because the strip is vacuum-sealed in a silicone tube for waterproofing, never cut this strip to shorten it. Doing so will break the waterproof seal and potentially damage the "data" line that controls the 366 modes.

Power Efficiency

This strip runs on 12V, which is the gold standard for brightness.

• Car/Van Use: The cigarette lighter adapter makes this a "plug-and-play" solution for overlanding and van-life.

• Portable Power: It is perfectly compatible with portable power stations (like Jackery or Bluetti), drawing very little wattage while providing high-impact visual effects.
